Heck last year's ND-USC game was hyped like mad and ND had a loss going into it.
This will be a very tough game for Cincy. I like them to challenge for the division but winning in Arrowhead will be a challenge.
No way, Texas will be 5 or 6 at worst. ND should be #2, with USC at 3.
As I recall they got spanked out there at the end of the regular season but I'm not sure if their starters played most of that game.
Yeah, they got dominated but they did sit their stars because they already got into the playoffs and I believe Denver already locked the bye in the playoffs, and KC was still playing for something. LJ is a monster but the Bengals D did improve a bit since last season. It will be a tight game.
Does anybody think West Virginia is for real, or simply the beneficiary of a soft schedule? I haven't been able to see them this year... I am certain that Steve Slayton is the real deal.
Well I know it was last year but that team smacked around a pretty good Georgia Bulldog squad.
My completely uneducated guess is that they are very good, but not as good as their record will be. They gave a real shot at the championship but it depends on how other teams in stronger conferences do (although honestly I think most of the conferences are pretty weak, with 1 or 2 big guns).
Supposedly the Chiefs defense is improved as well. We'll find out.
TJ Houshmanzadeh is out with an injured heel--he's a superb WR so his absence will be significant
Hosemazzily? Whosyermamma?
That is gonna hurt...
Yeah, CHris Henry aka "Felonious Monk" will see the action I think
TD Bills! 12 seconds in...damn!
LJ almost lost the football there but recovered, but KC has to punt now
Well that was an interesting way to start the season. Well maybe it'll wake them up early.
I remember the home opener in 1993 (Bledose and Parcells first home game) Troy Brown fumbled the opening kickoff and Willie Clay of the Lions ran it back for a TD.
TEXANS take the lead on the Beagles! 7-zip Woot
who scored?
Marony is awesome! Yeah, what a bad start, could not believe that. Lets see what the O can do this year.
Moulds
good debut with the team
