Cool, but isn't this like colorizing a classic B&W movie? Agreed. They should leave it alone. It's a part of history.

Combine that with some of the video I've seen from sites like TrekEnhanced.com (look at the video uploaded at http://www.betafive.com/TREKENHANCED/VFXonly.html -- it's from a project to update the SFX in the 90s that didn't go forward), and it looks like it'll be pretty good....
