I ate horsemeat on a trip to Switzerland. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I wonder why it's so popular? I gotta say, it's difficult to imagine horses being more economical to raise than cattle.

The french cafes in paris serve a dish that is ground up horsemeat - RAW with a raw egg cracked on top by the waiter.

All I could say was ewwwwww.
