I don't know Hollywood well enough to think of anyone that I might resemble. Back in the 80's, there was a movie about a Jesuit priest who went to South America to bring the gospel to the natives. I believe that the actor who played the priest was Jeremy Irons. For the movie, he had a beard and wore his hair straight down instead of in a part of any kind. His hair length was about what mine was at the time, and our beards were somewhat similar. All of my friends kept talking about how much I looked like this guy. At the time, it wasn't a bad comparison because he was the hero of the movie. Since that time, I've never looked like that actor in anything else.

Otherwise, no one's ever said that I looked like anyone famous, but occasionally people mistake me for all sorts of guys "down the street" or something.

I thought of who the actor is.. I have seen him in a few movies and for the life of me don't recall his name. He is NOT a leading man but more of a character actor.

The movie I really remember him as (he was a bad guy) was the movie 8 MM . If you didn't see it, it is regarding a PI (nic cage) who is investigating a snuff pornography tape that a shocked widow finds in her husbands safe upon his death.

It is a very intense movie. Prior to seeing that I did not know what snuff pornography was. It is the actual killing of someone on tape & the tape used then for "entertainment".

This is NOT a movie for the faint of heart or squeamish in any way. It is the first movie that I saw Joaquin Phoenix in also. Kathryn Keener (whom I like) plays Nic Cage's wife.

Here is the IMDb link for the flick:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0134273/

after you see this movie, you will think about it & various ramifications for a long time
