My ex hasnt seen the kids since 2002...and now that he's married a convicted/registered sex offender, he wont! I have it set up through the courts, he has to have visits with my oldest (daughter) supervised only! The courts will allow him to have an unsupervised visit for 8 hours with my son...but his wife can't be there or he and she goes to jail!

He also hasn't paid child support in a long time. I got 5 payments (2 1/2 months worth) last year...and 1 payment (1/2 a month) this year.

Drill is monthly and lately he has been going away for about four days (not two). I lock up everything and keep a pistol on the nightstand. Regarding his redeployment status, because his unit spent 16 months deployed, there is very little chance that they would send him back. He's also getting ready to retire in about a year and a half.

Oh yah, one thing I forgot to mention (in terms of spooky stuff) about 6 months ago, our television started turning itself on in the middle of the night. (I'm pinging Jack, cause maybe he can explain this.) In order to correct the problem, we've plugged the TV into a sock controlled by a switch to cut the power completely. This seems to work. (If it didn't, then I'd be REALLY freaked.) Anyway, if we go to bed and forget to turn the switch off, the TV comes on about 2-3 hours later. Never ever fails now. It is the weirdest/spookiest thing I've ever seen. When I’m in bed and it's 3am and I hear voices and talking coming from the next room, it really makes me jump!!! Haven’t grabbed the pistol yet to shoot the TV.

Haven’t grabbed the pistol yet to shoot the TV.

And yet that very well might work!

Tired & busy!

The grandson keeps waking up and I think it is due to him cutting top teeth.

It feels like it will take forever to unpack, but that has to get done.

Today I came across this neat picture of a swimming anaconda. It is expensive. But cool.

Is that cameraman still alive? Eeeeeeeeeeeek!

It's a cult movie with Jake Gyllenhaal. Sort of a weird dark comedy/thriller about a disturbed teenager who is haunted by nightly visions of a 6-foot tall nightmarishly scary rabbit. It also involves time travel, the end of the world, and parallel universes.

Mind didn't pay support for years. In the end, he owed a mint. The courts were on his back, so I let him pay a dime on the dollar. I would never force anyone to be where he didn't want to be!

I'm sorry that your kids' dad is so stupid. I'm glad that your kids are out of his life. You'll have a family for life; and he'll end up wondering why he doesn't. As with anything, we get out of it what we put into it.

Well, I don't think "Harvey" is intended to be creepy or scary.

Probably unintentional, LOL.

You know what I really hate? Mimes (I don't think I'm alone on that one). Stems from childhood.

good for you bannie. yes, many dads are losers along this line but also some women are bitter & withold contact with kids/dads for vengeance.. that is sad. Some dads are good dads even though they did not make good spouses/match ups for mates.

BTW.. Hi! good to see you this evening

Hello all

Took my sis to a movie tonight--"Step up"-- not a bad movie.

Will probably watch Columbo or Eastwood soon.(both are on tv).
