Hubby just called me...........he has gotten back to this side of the Chesapeake Bay.....driving i absolutely treacherous.
I'm going to wait for him to get home before heading over to school for open house. I am not chancing these roads in my little Escort........but I have no intentions of driving the pickup in this rain - I'll let him do the driving. With any luck he'll be home in a bit over an hour.
well drive safely. we have rain but just a gentle steady rain at this point, maybe it will pick up later, but there isn't wind or gusting of any sort.
The wind has really started picking up and it has been raining very hard for hours......
well i plan on hitting the stitch shop and the wegmans thread has me jonesing to go there. i see that some schools are closed out in spotsylvania and fauquier counties, but Fairfax hasn't started yet and only xsboy has started at the xshousehold so far and he will go by Montgomery Co. MD closing policy, as will xsteen. at least i am down to only looking for 2 school districts in the closings, instead of the 3 i had last year.

Never heard of them! Are you going out today? Is the Weather Channel not telling the truth?
My friend hasn't called me back, so that tells me they did not cancel open house at school. I'll go to the afternoon session because I won't make the morning one which ends at 11.
I have neither a stitch shop nor a Wegman's anywhere near here. The nearest stitch shop is 50 miles and I have never even seen a Wegman's and have only ever heard of them through FR threads :)
Is that Spock from Star Trek? And did you do that yourself?
