Really? WhHen was this lousy OSU team scheduled? Usually games are scheduled 4-7 years ahead, so you are saying OSU was sucky during that stretch? My recollection has them being pretty decent over that time period, heck since 1998 they have been pretty good.
I don't really recall. It was during the Clarett mess, so it was probably about four years ago. Ohio State was mediocre at the time.
They made the deal when Ohio State was a big name but not a huge threat.
