Nope. Back in the early 70s I got Leary's message all mixed up and so I proceeded to "Tune out, turn off, and drop out" from my peers' new "culture." That included movies (after a while it's not really funny when somebody says "X, the famous actor" and you honestly respond, "Who?") and teeeveee.
I'm not a curmudgeon by a long shot, I've just always marched to a different drummer (and piper -- though a fife will do too).
I thought you marched to a bagpipe ("different" would be a bit redundant, yes?) ;)
