They checked the DNA of the employees and the entire family. The odd ball DNA excluded all of them just like it excluded Karr. I remember Lee saying that this is NOT a DNA case.

At the very least, we now will have his DNA in the database. We just expanded our base here in NY BY LAW thanks to our DA. He said that these pervs commit misdemeanors and do not get in the database and go on to commit serious crimes and he mentioned a notorious case....where the guy had committed six rapes.

Change the laws! We're too lenient.

The Shawcross murders were here in NY. He brutally murdered 2 kids in Watertown. He served 15 years. Law enforcement relocated him to Rochester. He changed his MO and killed 11 young women(19-25) in 15 months.

Life and nothing less for murder and/or violent rape.

Some are saying the DNA could be from inspector #8 at the factory where the underwear was made. It seems like it would made sense at the time to track the facility the underwear was made, take DNA from the employees, and possibly discount or validate that hypothesis.
