When a child dies in its own home, the cops HAVE to start with the people who had access to the child. They start by CLEARING them, so the investigation can move on to the next outward circle.
The Ramseys could NOT be cleared. They investigated nearly 400 more people, anyway - but the whole case was already compromised because the inner circle refused to cooperate in finding their own child's killer.
Instead, they went on CNN 5 days later!
And I see John Ramsey carrying JonBenét up the last three steps from the basement. And, um, and my mind exploded. I mean it literally, I saw black with thousands of lights. And everything that I had noted that morning that stuck out, instantly made sense. (pause, sigh) And JonBenét was clearly dead. And she's been dead for a while. I knelt next to her and I leaned down to her face. And John leaned down opposite me, and um, his face was just inches from mine...(pause, breath) and we had, um, a nonverbal exchange that I will never forget. And he asked if she was dead. And I said yes, she's dead. And I told him to go back to the room and to dial 911. And as we looked at each other, I remember, and I wore a shoulder holster; tucking my gun right next to me and consciously counting I've got 18 bullets."
You think John Ramsey was oblivious to the fact that this ineffectual and incompetent cop had already made up her mind who the perp was?
The whole case was compromised by incompetent police work starting with the first ineffectual search of the home.
>>They start by CLEARING them<<
This isn't true. You can't convict or even indict someone just because they can't be "cleared." If I don't have an alibi for that night, or can't prove I wasn't in Colorado, can I truly be "cleared?" The answer is no, but that doesn't mean I was a suspect.
>>The Ramseys could NOT be cleared.<<
This is just BS. There was absolutely no evidence that they were the least bit involved.
>>inner circle refused to cooperate in finding their own child's killer.<<
What exactly did they refuse to do?
>>Instead, they went on CNN 5 days later!<<
Which all but proves they didn't do it. No competent defense lawyer is going to let his client get on TV or anywhere else and talk if there is a hint of doubt of their innocence.
