My wife and I had a Mini Dachshund, she use to let it stand up on her lap and he would put his paws on the steering wheel. (Not when I was in the car) He'd lookout the windshield and occasionally get a paw on the horn, she got some funny looks from passing motorists.

(That's right, I have no proof. So what of it??)
To: Millee
In China, dogs should be on the dinner plate, not behind the steering wheel.

My two Shih Tzu's (Jake & Maggie) are brilliant - I think I'll give them driving lessons this afternoon....

Look, just cause you like to be at one with the animals (no I did not forget your admission of hot monkey sex, with a real monkey) does not give you the right to call us all insensitive clods.
I missed you!!!!!

Did you learn nothing from your horse dog food comments.....

My mom says that when I was 4, I pointed at a guy with a shaggy beard in a car and said "Look mom, a dog is driving that car!"

I'd never teach my rottweiler to drive. Despite her incredible intelligence, she's awfully impulsive and I doubt she'd use her turn signals all that much. I could give her the same, "A car is not a toy, and driving is a privilege not a right" speech my dad gave me when I learned, but I have a feeling she'd just look at me with her soulful brown eyes and then roll over for a few tummy scratches.

He will take off and run at any opportunity, and he'll already go miles, even on paw. He'd be impossible to keep tabs on if he could drive. :~)
