Isn't that part of the point Tiger is trying to make?....

Nobody is speculating about golf.

I don't know, some golfers are "bulking" up.
To: Tribune7
That's actually pretty good form/technique for a 300+lb. golfer.
To: justche
Exactly!
Everyone knows the heavy drug use is in croquet and curling.

LOL
hopefully they won't outlaw heaters and beer....

Perhaps start with the LPGA ... Natalie Gulbis and Paula Creamer do appear to be a bit enanched...

Why would Woods call for it....the rumors are getting hot & the fingers are pointing to him. A once wory 20 year old looks like an outside linebacker now. He has the strength to hit a 9 iron out of the rough from 190 and stop it on a dime....over a tree.
Dan Patrick did a show on 18 Aug about steroids and golf with Nick Falso. Faldo does not believe its a problem.....but Patrick keeps raising the question with Woods at the center

oh please - who thinks golfers are using performance enhancing drugs? I do...without question I do.
Beta blockers have been used for awhile, but the roids are making their way into golf starting in highschool and college. The top player in the game heads the list on the tour.

Nick Price was recently discussing roids too. He does not believe its a problem on tour now, but visions a nearing explosion. What is a kid who has dreamed of making a living his whole life going to do when his maximum drive his 265 yds? When he is told he can't make it on tour with that length, he'll seek a little help given all the money there is to be made.......what happens when 10% of the kids are looking for help? The guy that naturally hits it 290 no longer has an advantage.....dominoes. It happened in football, boxing, track, tennis, swimming, biking....the list goes on...why not golf?

Daly is pushing 300 in that pic.....at the same time the PGA had his weight listed at 225 on his bio.

why not golf?
Personally, I think it happens today.... Not as infested in golf as other sports but I do think some of the training being done to bulk up etc may include uses of a few substances that would be banned if testing took place. jmo.

HE is ripped.....his upper back looks like 50 pounds of condensed tire rubber......I saw pics of him swimming in the Carribean and shook my head.
The same arguments they were making in support of baseball, they are doing for golf.
How could roids help a baseball player they said? You need fine muscle control to accurately place a bat on a 95 mph fastball......those arguments are dead now, as similar ones will be for golf.
How can anyone keep the clubhead square through 6"rough and hit a nine iron 190 yds as if it were on a tight fairway?
I wouldn't be surprised if the PGA is supplying the roids.
