Can anyone be more specific about the distance between the Ramsey home and the bus station?

There is definitely too much useless news on Iran, Lebanon, Terrorism filling the news papers and pushing world critical and overwhelmingly important news of the 10 year old Jon Benet murder off the front page and out of the minds of folks. Please, MSM, give us Jon Benet all the time, 24 hour coverage and let all that other terrorist drival be relagated to being ignored, it doesn't mean anything anyway as far as the state of the world is concerned.

I am sure I can also remember everyone I saw the morning of Dec. 26, 1996. I can also remember every phone call, and what I had for breakfast. Sarcasm off. If the DA is counting on this testimony her case is in deep trouble.

Pretty weak. Useless, I'd say.

December 26, 1996, 12:30 a.m. bus station in Boulder?

If Karr did arrive in Boulder at that time, by his admission, he was in the Ramsey house until they returned from the party that night. So, that would put Karr in Boulder for roughly 24 hours (5 or more of those hours inside the Ramsey house), plus the airplane or bus trip back to Alabama/Georgia.

Surely, the Karr family would have noticed Karr's absent for around a day-and-a-half during that holiday.

===

The Karr story smells, still. Even with this 'revelation'.

I saw Karr, too. He was in my living room, crowding out more important matters while he lusted after his fifteen minutes.

Malvo and the War Debate (ZOT!!! Why not to go off antipsychotic meds without a doctor’s guidance)

I am curious why none of the media covers the most important aspect of the Malvo shootings. If you look at Newspapers on the dates when the shootings are underway you discover something I find quite interesting. The shootings begin to dominate the news the day before the debate on the Iraq war starts and they catch them the day after the declaration of war??? If you ask most people "do you remember the debate about starting the second Iraq war", they will all answer "yes of course". But if you followup with the question "name one point in the debate, a speech by a Senator or where their senator stood", nada.

Almost no one noticed any aspect of the most important debate in the last 50 years?

And interesting and odd fact. No one has done a story on what the real impact of the shootings were. It was to virtually eliminate the war debate from the media.

The special forces background of the senior member of the pair also seems to get short shrift.

Smells a little fishy to me based on what little I know about it. At minimum its a very significant part of the story, i.e. that a common murderer had such an impact on our political process. Why is nobody covering this obvious fact?

The guy is odd. Years ago he was a weirdo with a mullet and today he looks like Forrest Gump with eyeliner.

So he would have stuck out like a sore thumb at the Ramsey Christmas party. Besides, the party was on December 23rd and the child was murdered on December 26th. Note that we have yet (as best I can tell) to see anyone that was at the party come forward to mention that they saw the weirdo there. That's because everyone at the party knew each other.

The Bolder DA and the Bolder Police that worked the case at the beginning will probably once again come off as bumbling and inept. Because that's what they have been on this case from day one.

For a lot of interesting information on the case see here.

The parents treated the child like a queen, literally. I don't see them taking her out of bed and bashing her head in. The older brother was 10 at the time and while he was larger than his sister the way she was killed was brutal and the way the rope was tied was probably beyond him as was the letter that was left.

I'd love to see Karr be the guy but at this point I don't see how he could be.

I might have seen Karr in 1996, too. I don't think so, but if he was somewhere I was, I might have seen him. Do I get my name in the newspaper, now?

About a mile and a half, not far if you do any walking at all, or if you're possessed by motivation.

If Karr is found guilty I will be I guess "one of the few" in the camp that believed his confession and guilt from beginning. I've been falsely accused before, for much lesser crime (bad checks on business venture), but still when you know in your heart and mind that you are not guilty and geting screwed you don't react like that, I don't care how mental this guy is..I saw guys like that well, guys in mental health part of LA county jail (he's a real doosy though!) and one thing was constant, it's real rare to find an out and out confessor...I think Karr was brought up with good morals, and now can't live with himself...remember, the KEY point, when police first got him he said "second degree murder"...in his warped mind he thinks he can escape death penalty and has been going over this constantly for 10 years as to what he would do..nobody pleads guilty to a dealth penalty charge, that's insanity!...so he'll get his day in court and this will be the opposite of the OJ case...same coverage, but opposite talk...presumed guilty who pleads 100% not guilty (I have a unique theory, but will suppress) vs. confessed sex pedophile and killer almost being presumed innocent (strange in our culture) with us adding it up to "did he really do it"...SCORE ONE FOR THE POLICE!

I think I saw him too. It was in a little coffee house in Tangiers. He was wearing a yellow suit with a black pinstripe carnation...
