Well, you could buy yourself a mate, too. I guess some of the guys on here like to go to Russia for "take out" orders.
I've heard that many of the Russia "mail order brides" are really just perpetrating scams. They find a guy who has a bit of money and talk him into marriage. When they get here, they stay with him long enough to learn where all of the cash is. They wait until one day when he's at work, and they clean out all of his accounts. They then fly back to Russia where American courts can't force them to give back the money.
I don't see any point in getting involved in that situation. If I wanted to marry someone who was just looking for an opportunity to scam me out of my money, I could marry someone here in the United States. (/kidding)
Strangely enough, many of my friends in the herp world keep kidding me about finding mates for my pets and failing to find one for myself.
