DURHAM, N.C. On March 21, a week after an African-American woman charged that she had been raped by three white Duke University lacrosse players, the police sergeant supervising the investigation met with the sexual-assault nurse who had examined the woman in the emergency room. The sergeant, Mark D. Gottlieb, reviewed the medical report, which did not say much: some swelling, no visible bruises.

The article makes no sense. First, as I posted above, Gottlieb's notes are not evidence, they are an after the fact recording of what he claims is evidence. So, who cares what they say. Second, on all the critical points, the NY Times article just punts. The New York Times says it is possible for a rapist to leave no DNA. Okay, NY Times with access to any possible expert, how common is it for a violent attack to leave no DNA and it is say, 10% (which seems crazy high) how common is it for it to happen with three separate assailants. Why coulnd't they find one person to comment on this absolutely central issue. Third, it gives different "facts" equal weight. Apparenly conceding that the "rape" could not have ocurred until after 12:05, why does all the babble about Gottlieb matter if independent real evidence says Reade was on the phone and out the door.
I just found it totally bizarre--but not unexpected.
Someone needs to translate this one for me...

This is not an hallucination.
Let's see ~ she's been diagnosed as bipolar. Hmmmm. Bet you don't know what that means. Folks at MSNBC do, but they want to ignore it ~ too close to home Fur Shur.
Somewhat beyond "reasonable doubt" ~ this drifts into the category of Nifong not having an AV who can serve as a witness to the crime.
It's the prosecutor's stories that change ~ not the AV's. Besides, she hasn't said all that much and NO ONE IN THE MSM HAS INTERVIEWED HER.
I know from some of the "victims" that some outre bipolar folks get together and exchange medications just to see if anything interesting happens.
This problem is not like schizophrenia.
You can still get in trouble for that if you are wandering about without a prescription (see the Big Man about that).
On the other hand, once a diagnosis of bipolar has been made most folks, particularly law enforcement types, are just happy that the person is not committing crimes against property or persons.
Drug use is the least of anyone's worries with these guys and gals.
That's more than "disturbed" ~ before modern medicine came along these folks were locked up most of their lives except for their few lucid periods.
You read my mind. The article says:
Outside experts say it is possible for a rapist to leave no DNA evidence.
We need to find out who these unnamed outside experts are, and put your questions to them.
This election season, by Democrats involves the hiring of major psyche and linguistic experts in order to accomplish their "by any means necessary" demand to be elected.
Bunch of losers, is what they are.
Well, Dan Abrahms made an appearance on Tucker's show and he really went after the Times for their article. He was fantastic. So MSNBC has rebounded.
Well, I just used the word "disturbed" but it's clear she has some serious mental problems.
Outside experts say that the NY times reporters have an agenda!!
Okay, here is another point about the DNA that relates to the article. It is common knowledge that a rape will likely leave DNA evidence--even the unnamed outside experts would agree to that. If you committed a rape on a prostitute, you would not declare BEFORE the dna came back that there was no sex, because if a match ocurred you would lose the ability to say that you had consensual sex and fo to jail for a long time. At the time the players said publicly before the results came back that they had no sex, the "experts" said they made a mistake. But it was brilliant. They could only commit themselves if they knew the results in advance, and they could only know those results if they were telling the truth. How does this related back to the article? Well, unlike Gottlieb, who creates his story after the fact, the players provided contemporaneous accounts that match the evidence collected later. Why is that not in the article.
Just shoddy shoddy work.
Oh yeah - I should say I don't think she is insane though - not the way the law defines insanity, anyway. I think she understands the difference between right and wrong.
I thought there were three DNA matches from CGM, and that Cheshire said they were "known to police".
Remember, you don't have to be psychotic to be totally out of your nut, particularly with modern pharmaceutical miracles allowing seriously mentally ill people to function outside a hospital setting.
Well the ho said she was raped by 3 guys. What do they say about 3 rapist not leaving DNA? ;)
Key point. Their accounts have remained unchanged, and they match the forensic evidence.
Wish I would have seen that segment. Because the segment I seen on O'Reilly was pathetic.
