I missed the whole show tonight due to working late. But I agree with you. I thought it was just me. Perhaps it is because of the way these people were selected? I heard that to comprise racial teams like all but two people were approached and enticed to be on the show whereas before I think the contestants knocked themselves out to qualify. If so, that might explain the different energy, as it were.

I have also heard that, and I think in fact that is the problem with this season's show. I would bet that the two who wanted on the show without being asked, were Jonathan,(nee Alan Alda) and Yul.
