Yes FReepers and FReeperettes, its time once again for another season of Survivor.
This time they are in the Cook Islands, in the middle of the South Pacific.
I was going to start off this thread by informing you all about how Mark Burnetts Production Company has decided to split the tribe along ethnic backgrounds. But that subject has been pretty much beaten to death on at least three different threads. So. . . .
I would like to point out that for all their talk about minorities not applying to the show as much as whites and about how they had to send their casting producers out to round up minorities, they apparently didnt have to look too far.
Of the 20 contestants recruited for this season, no less than 13 are from California!
And of those 13, NINE are from the greater Los Angeles area!
So much for diversity!
Wonderful Survivor recap tonight ... perfect night to read; go to bed early
That was a YAWNER of a recap. I was surprised Yul went to all that trouble to get rid of any evidence of the idol. Dang it! I wish someone would just plant a substitute - that would actually make this game interesting!
Don't know, honestly I didn't pay that much attention. Maybe he just screwed up in his commentary.
Like a case of bad karma, ever since Ozzy's manipulative, too-clever-by-half scheme to throw a challenge to get rid of Billy, his original tribe has been annihilated. It would seem Ozzy got what he wanted, times four.
In a way, Ozzy's Survivor skills are a litle like Bill Clinton's political skills: He manages to hang on, even as everyone around him gets hurt and eliminated.
Greetings all.
Since there is no recap this week, I thought you all would enjoy a trailer of the upcoming season of "24".
Jack is back!

Take care,
Cuz
What a perfect time for this clip to be released. We need to share this link with the world during the next 7 days. Let's remind people there are terrorists out there who wish to do us harm and the dems are enabling them.
man oh man, 24 looks better than ever!
The New Aitutaki Tribe (Red Buffs):

The New Raratonga Tribe - (Blue Buffs):

The LOSERS!

Yes ladies and gentlemen, its Thursday. So that means its time once again for your:
The clues from the official SeeBS website are as follows:
At an extremely physical Reward Challenge, a Survivor collapses out of exhaustion, leaving the burden to complete the challenge to their other tribemates. With all the food the players are getting this season, its anybodys guess who the player is that collapses from exhaustion.
One Survivor confronts another about their choice to sit out of the physical portion of the Reward Challenge, blaming the loss on them. How will this affect their position in the game? The only player we see sitting out a challenge is Jessica (a.k.a. Flicka) which may be why she is the front runner for getting the boot tonight on all the spoiler sites.
With littler shelter available, a raging storm makes one Survivor's trip to Exile Island a nightmare. Again, a non-clue. Nothing to see here, move along.
One Survivor brings a seabird back to camp after having caught it with their bare hands. Can they convince their fellow tribemembers that their strength around camp is an asset or will they quickly make themselves a target? Its no surprise that Ozzy is the one bring back the seabird. They show us as much in the promos. Sloppy, SeeBS, sloppy!
The Reward Challenge appears to involve swimming out to a platform, climbing a tower constructed on this platform, and smashing tribal tiles. Since we all know that Ozzy is the best swimmer on the island, its a pretty safe bet that Aitu wins the Reward Challenge. Now we know that Aitu kidnapped Nate during the last double tribal council, and that Nate was to be a part of Aitu through the Reward Challenge. So as a final parting shot before Nate returns to his own tribe, Aitu decides to send him off to Exile Island.
The Immunity Challenge appears to involve climbing a tower, flying down a zip line into the water, collecting bags of stuff from floating platforms, racing back to shore and possibly solving a puzzle from the stuff in the collected bags. Not too many clues to show us who the winners are, so Im gonna go out on a limb here and say that Raro wins this one.
Well, there you have it:
Reward Challenge Winner: Aitutaki
Sent to Exile Island : Nate
Immunity Challenge Winner: Raro
Tribal Council Bootee(s): Jessica (Flicka Flame is gonna get snuffed!)
Ill be back Monday morning with a recap, so till than,
Take care,

Hello, hello, hello, hello,......anybody out there? :)
I'm here, someplace..lol
Hi! Well that was expected. Do you think these are staged? :) I'm glad your'e here.
This show is getting real boring at least for me...I just can't get behind any of these people.
The only ones I really like are all on the same team, Ozzy, Yul and Jonathan. But every week the producers trky to make it look like they are on the chopping block, and fail miserably. The past 3 it was obvious who was going. Unfortunately, there is nothing else on worth watching!! >:] Oh well.
LOL.....I watch Top Chef on Wed...and TAR on Sun night...that's about it..
You sound like me. :) I do like to tape and watch the Biggest Loser on Wed., TAR, and sometimes I'll watch Deal or No Deal. That's it. I can't wait for 24 to get here.
Wow, no one chatting during the show. I am a little disapointed, but not sure of which. The show is definately slow, but at least seeing the posts of comments while others watch the show was some entertainment.
I think Yul will be the winner, thought so for a while. Hidden Idol or not, he is working it for sure. Not sure why he was swimming with his glasses on though.
I think they threw the challange just to get rid of someone who was not fitting in.
Hope others will post ideas, at least try to make ANYTHING here interesting. I love the show and I hope that they get people there that WANT to be there, instead of hunting for people to fill positions. I am sure they had plenty of people from all the different groups that they chose. But they were not 'perfect for TV' so they went out that handpicked pretty people.
Give the ugly, poor, and crazy people a chance to play this game....that would make it more interesting then all this glamour people that are there now that really don't know how to play the game.
Sorry for the rant. Just my thoughts.

I had to work late last night. I might need a Blackberry. Can you freep on a Blackberry?
"I think Yul will be the winner"
I was thinking the same thing. I can't remember Yul saying or doing anything so far to make anyone mad at him. He seems to have a very diplomatic response to anything that it thrown at him, even at tribal council. Although, I thought he may have gone a bit overboard in his praise of Jessica on last night's shows when he was about to vote her off!
