Yes FReepers and FReeperettes, its time once again for another season of Survivor.
This time they are in the Cook Islands, in the middle of the South Pacific.
I was going to start off this thread by informing you all about how Mark Burnetts Production Company has decided to split the tribe along ethnic backgrounds. But that subject has been pretty much beaten to death on at least three different threads. So. . . .
I would like to point out that for all their talk about minorities not applying to the show as much as whites and about how they had to send their casting producers out to round up minorities, they apparently didnt have to look too far.
Of the 20 contestants recruited for this season, no less than 13 are from California!
And of those 13, NINE are from the greater Los Angeles area!
So much for diversity!

Was there a rule that said Nate couldn't share his food with the rest of the tribe? That would have been a nice gesture.
I doubt that I could do it, but it would've been nice :)

I'm here! Just that the tv and computer are in two different rooms and the fried chicken is in the tv room.

"Hunger is the best sauce" a famous person once said.
I thought the lamb looked awful. Bread and cider, yes.
Well sort of. I did not see any cups. Just those greasy mouths on the cider jug hole. Eeeek.
This season they are so well fed it is not like before.

He's right. I bet people either love him or hate him! I enjoy him but I could never, ever picture him managing a nail salon. Unless that nail salon has a holistic medicine wing.

Me too. Did anyone else think that Candace and Adam were putting themselves on the next chopping block because of their mouting to each other during the TC? Looks like they have a tight bond, and the way they acted during the TC opens that bond up to suspicion.
I would not be surprised at all to see Candace or Adam going home next week because of it.
Flika has grown on me, a lot. I don't think she's a real good game player, but she's a definite competitor and tough girl. She's going to need to learn to join alliances and play the game, though, if she wants to last.
Jonathan is playing a good game, so far, but others may be on to him. If Jonathan can keep his alliance together through the merge, he'll make final 4, for sure. But I'm seeing signs of weakness.
In all, not a bad season, but so far not one of the best, either.

this thread used to be so popular, now hardly anyone shows up...just me and you kid..I'm lucky to catch it at all. This week was like the third time our cable has been out on a Thursday night, grrr. We did get to see the evictions this week, but nothing else.
