I would like to commend the level of Intellectual aptitude I see here on FR. I have been a member for a couple of years now, lurked for about a year before that. I am consistently challenged by my peers here when I post a comment or a thread. I rarely feel attacked personally by most FReepers.
There is a true air of open debate that permeates this site and creates a welcoming and stimulating online environment.
I guess I should thank Mr. Robinson for setting some ground rules that have made that "attitude" the norm here. But it should be said that FReepers should be delighted with themselves that this forum consistently presents logical arguments and insightful viewpoints that are valuable to everyone, not just conservatives.
I had lurked at DU and other leftist websites. The majority of drivel I see there is putrid, vehement dialogue fit only for adolescent miscreants that forgot to pay attention in the third grade. The level of personal attack, flat out ignorance and basic disdain for any kind of fair debate is not present.
Thanks again Jim Robinson, and thanks you all my fellow FReepers for keeping me informed, educated, and allowing me to express my opinions without fearing some immature insult or attack.
Thanks Jim for creating a truly great forum for conservatives to express and share ideas and views.
