Do either of you remember this story? Cyborg definitely remembers the story I'm referring to about rocket launchers being found buried at a NY beach after TWA.

I vaguely recall something about someone finding a rocket container on a beach in New York.

At times I've been suspicious of the official line on this story but the fact that no group ever claimed credit for the downing of this aircraft leads me to doubt any conspiracy theory.

I don't remember the buried-weapons story.

I am convinced so far that this was a terrorist attack. The terrorists warned of one, and then there was that firecracker that went off at the Olympics and that poor man's life ruined--to make believe that was the incident that the threat was about.

Maybe the New York Times can find a leaker. Oh wait
