Goodell's father, the late Charles Goodell, was a Republican congressman from western New York who in 1968 was appointed by Gov. Nelson A. Rockefeller to fill the Senate seat left vacant by the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy.
Charles Goodell, who died in 1987 at age 60, is perhaps best remembered for his shift from establishment Republican to critic of the Vietnam War and the Nixon White House when he moved from the House of Representatives to the U.S. Senate.
The younger Goodell, the second of four boys, is married to Jane Skinner, a Fox News anchor. She is the daughter of Sam Skinner, who served as secretary of Transportation and chief of staff under President George H.W. Bush.

Outstanding! More of the establishment elite breeding so they can produce more of the same. Just what we need in all strata of our society, more people out of touch with the main stream of America.

Goodell's wife, Jane Skinner, serves as a daytime news anchor on the FOX News Channel, providing news updates at the top and bottom of the hour.Give the guy credit, he has great taste in women.

Just an unrelated note. I'm watching the Cowboys-Saints game on ESPN, and it's pretty disgusting how much they're trying to create a T. O. story. The sideline reporterette said she went to Terry Glenn and asked him if Parcells wasn't being too easy on T. O. and if Parcells shouldn't have called Owens "she".
They're so desperate to have a "blow up" story that they're trying to manufacture one.
