Instead of springing this guy from that Thai hellhole jail and flying him back to Boulder first class - which is exactly what he wants - why didn't the Boulder PD just send one of their CSIs over there to take a swab, check it against the DNA sample from the murder scene, and find out whether he was really there or not?

That was my first question. I HOPE that they are flying him back because they already got a DNA match and have simply kept it quiet. I doubt it, but that is what I hope.

I believe they are flying him back because he was to start teaching school children in Thailand this next week. The U.S. authorities had to nab him before that started and Karr would be practicing his favorite, disgusting hobby. Our people wanted to wait, but could not do so in good conscience. Thailand probably didn't have anything to arrest him for...yet.
