It is really hard to know what to believe. Apparently the Thai officials have not interrogated Karr so it is likely the Thai police were just telling stuff they thought was true.

On the other hand the US people are not talking. And apprently his exwife is not talking either. She said he was with the family on Christmas. But then she said she could not remember for certain. She just didn't remember him being away.

Then She said they did not have the money for him to fly to Colorado. But what bothers me is where did he get all his money. He was a part time teacher. That pays peanuts. Yet he owned a DeLorean. And that is a ton of money car. Who paid for it?

And he apparently traveled all over the world. Where did he get the money for the air fairs? He was fired from nearly every job shortly after he got it.

There has to be a source of money.

I guess all we can do is wait until he is indicted. Perhaps the indictment will be made public. That should tell us something.

This story says he will be indicted. How can they know that to be the case? There are a lot more questions than answers. But I would say this... this district attorney had best get it right. Or her future is in the past.

If I were the wife I'd be hiding out from the media. He was a used car tradesman in Alabama so he probably picked it up that way.

You have asked the most intriguing questions I have seen. Very interesting indeed.

where did a high school kid get a DeLorean? The family has to have money, maybe he's beneficiary of a trust.

Carolinamom has figured it out.

I read through other resumes posted at job4teacher.com and saw a common thread...that candidates skip from job to job after a year.

I also read a sample contract and learned that the employers commonly supply living quarters in addition to salary and reimburse the hired teacher for his travel expenses after 3 months on the job. The employed teacher is responsible for paying his phone bill and supplying his food. So, this is how Karr and others like him (?) travel from country to country

.

Tator, I've been asking that question for three days and haven't got a reasonable reply yet. Lots of speculation about selling sexual activities. How could he afford to go to college with three small children to support? Plus a wife that got married at sixteen. (Doubt if she graduated...pregnant and barefoot!)
