I can't go for that.. no. If you do some research, there are pleny of products out there that allow one to lock up their gun near at hand but easily acessable if you have the right combo.

Face it.. kids are curious. What is more likely to happen? a home invasion or one of your kids getting ahold of the gun (to show off to friends, whatever)?

One of my daughters friends already tried to get nosey with my gun...before it was loaded...I had just bought it.

My daughter told her "leave it alone, or I will call my mom in here now!"

My daughter is in the Junior NRA...she is learning about gun safety, and she passes everything she learns on to her brother. Both kids have completed the Eddie Eagle program.

I am pinging Neil here, because he has seen both my kids and how they handle and respect guns.

If they are taught right...they will respect it!

That's great, IF Jose & raul are willing to stop raping your kid for a couple minutes while you turn on the light and try to read the tumbler for the right combo. Oh, wait a second, your glasses are in the study.

Jose, can you give me another 45 seconds, please, I need to go get my glasses so I can see this lock and undo it so i can protect my kid you are raping.
