A U.S. law enforcement official tells CNN that the man held in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey offered details about the condition of her body that have never been made public.

I think many of you are on the right track about the note. It was never meant to truly be a ransom note and is more of a cryptic note left for the father (as in getting his digs in towards the father and the writer is letting Ramsey know that he thinks he is above and smarter than Ramsey.)

So he knows about the 118K bonus, why not throw it in for good measure and hope that cops look towards the parents. (which is what they did and mainly they did this because of the 118K bonus being mentioned in the note)

If Karr is the one then how did he know so much about Ramsey? - Something tells me that Karr is part of this, he may be the killer but might also be someone that has crossed paths with the killer through his pedophile hobby.

2 very sick and demented people hooking up with each other is a great possibility in pedophile world. If Karr's DNA comes up negative I still think the LE has some info from Karr that was not released to the public and they want to know how Karr knows this info.

So maybe he was rational, but in a psychotic way.
The ransom note makes no sense as a ransom not. It makes perfect sense though if it's true purpose was to taunt, and involve the parents as part of the gratification of carrying out his plan.

No sister, but many family histories of why he is why he is.

Yes, she died when he was 12.

He may have written the note while hiding in the house waiting for the family to return from the party. If he was hiding in this back room, he could have done it while waiting for them to go to sleep. He may have been in the house a long time.

OK, that part makes better sense. for how many hours was the house empty before the family arrived home?

That is a possibility.
I hope the DA has more evidence then what we are hearing though because so far it looks pretty weak. I would be surprised if they don't have more. They've been investigating this guy for months. They might just be remaining very tight lipped about it, which would be smart. If this is all they have, I think they're in for an embarrassment.

I'm unsure, but they were out for a Christmas party, so it would have been several.

I won't be convinced it's this guy unless they come up with some better evidence. I do think there was an intruder, and I think a lot of the psychology we're discussing regarding the perp who did this is on track given what we know about the crime.

Exactly!!! I keep hearing people say "why would he..." or "that doesn't make sense that he would...". You can't put logic on this!! This is not a logical person and you can't throw a logical person's actions/thoughts/rational over that. A person that would do this in the first place isn't LOGICAL. Or rational.

here is what I think, There was an intruder who was in the house before the Ramsey's got home from the Christmas party. They wrote the note and took time writing it and maybe even used their left hand instead of their right on purpose. This person intended on taking Jonbenet alive when they wrote the letter and never planned to kill her, but when you are dealing with a sicko they end up killing someone vicously but not on purpose. I think this guy thought he loved Jonbenet and that she would love him to.

Anyhow, so when the Ramsey's get home this guy hid. Once they were all asleep he went into Jonbenet's room and picked her up and she probably stayed somewhat asleep and thought it was mom or dad picking her up so that is why she didn't scream and no one woke up hearing anything.

He takes her to the place he had been hiding down in the basement. He likely took her down there to figure out a plan to get out of the house without her screaming as she was likely awake by than and frightened. The sicko guy that he is was hoping she would be happy to be with this man but she turned on him and than he got violent with her because he was angry she wasn't LOVING him back like he thought she would. ONce he did everything he did to her and killed her he felt remorse and covered her up.

He left the Ramsey's house quickly forgetting all about the ransom note he had written since at that point he was upset he had killed his love!

Anyhow, this is what I think possibly happend, but whether it was Karr or some other sick freak I don't know.

well yes, but he's not dumb either. if he is the killer - he had to have stalked these people, somehow found out that they would be at a party that day - so the house would be empty and he could get in, and on and on.

All I read was that they were stillborn.
