Aug. 17 - KGO - Colorado police did find DNA under JonBenet's fingernails when she was killed ten years ago. They're expected to try to match that against the suspect's. Meanwhile, ABC7 has uncovered more information about the circumstances of John Karr's arrest.
Karr was arrested in Bangkok after being under watch for some time by U.S. officials. They had rented rooms at the Budget Hotel where he was staying. It was in a neighborhood of massage parlors and travel agencies catering to expatriates and sex tourists.
U.S. and Thai authorities sorted through and wheeled away his possessions, including a laptop computer.
The Boulder D.A. says they moved in now because Karr had just started work as a second-grade teacher in a Bangkok international school this week. They were concerned about public safety, and whether he might try to get away.
