Theory: He originally knew the Ramsey's from the south. He got to Colorado as a "babysitter/tutor" for a rich business associate of the Ramsey's who took him to Colorado. With all expenses paid, he doesn't show up on credit cards, telephone calls etc..

I think the DA might have a photo of someone who appears to be Karr at the gravesite or the home on one or more anniversaries of her death.

She did mention the word "anniversaries" today in the press conference when asked about tips, etc.
