Correct. IMO, it indicated that John and Patsy Ramsey didn't fully trust each other re JonBenet's death.
Yes, they may or may not have ACTUALLY trusted each other, but there was an awful lot of evidence that a reasonable person would interpret as indicating they didnt' trust each other. And if their actions were such as to lead reasonable people to believe they didn't trust each other, no one should be condemned for speculating that one of them was responsible. I happen to think that's unlikely, though I'm more open to the idea that one of them (probably the mother, who would have been the primary manager/traveller in connection with JonBenet's pageant career) had a good idea who was responsible and wasn't being fully forthcoming in order to avoid taking responsibility for endangering the girl by letting her mingle with pervs who attend those pageants. And if JonBenet was 2 years old by the time the family moved away from the Atlanta area, it not unlikely that she was already appearing in pageants there, and could have caught the attention of JMK at that time (which is not to say he's the real killer, but even if he's not, his obsession with JB may well have dated back a long time).
