This Kim who owns the site may own the company and if he is criminal negligent regarding his candidates, he may well be unable to hold up his hand and say sue my company which is bankrupt. He may find in the area of candidates/employees he may find the law jumps over the corporate barrier to bite him in the butt.

I don't think not asking relieves anyone from liability as an employment agency when placing adults into trusted positions with children, even if for overseas he appears to be based in Los Angeles.

I guess he could quickly learn about errors and omissions insurance and personal liability... YIKES
