I think he wanted to do three things.

#1 Repeat he was a GREAT GUY bunches of times.

#2 Suggest all sins are a misunderstanding because he was trying to write a book and now realizes it should have been on world peace.

#3 That there are family photos around and that he and the family are going to get together to try and make a Christmas alibi.

Problem with the picture and the alibi is that just now on TV he had no specific memory and he said none of the family did either, so he just F'd any chance of that becoming defense evidence IMO.

But, HE IS A GREAT GUY!!!!
