Don't feel to badly. Remember this was before Polly et al where child sex fiends broke into homes and took children. This was probably the first case of its kind. It had never happened before. The police leaked all kinds of information which blamed the Ramseys. The police should feel badly;how many kids were injured or killed because they failed to apprehend this guy.
