There was DNA found on her body that was unidentified. Look up the case on google.

According to the reports I've read ... there was no sexual DNA on the body, whatsoever. If there were particles of DNA on her clothing ... they could have originated from any number of sources. Bottom line, if the alleged killer has an alibi, as in his family testifying he was home for Xmas that year ... and there's no specific DNA evidence tying him to the crime ... he walks. DNA will be everything in this case ...

No one said it was sexual DNA and exactly what do you think the odds that this man's dna was found on her underwear if he was not there??

Per Nancy Grace show expert,there were 2 drops of blood at the scene and that DR. Larry Kobolinsky (sp)DNA expert guy said that DNA testing methods had advanced over the recent years. Also said that there was email communication between the guy and someone in Boulder that was known by law enforcement.
