I wonder how they got a sample from him to match with DNA they had from the crime scene? Someone said he'd written letters. Did they get DNA from the envelopes?
Stupid man...and he thought they'd not beable to track his emails to the police...those types trip their own selves up always...10 yrs...he did this crime at 31 yrs old...what a creep...
bookmarked
Even if the DNA is a match, there are going to be problems if this gets to trial. The Boulder police permitted John Ramsey to tamper with evidence (JonBenet's body).
How sad to think of the parents dealing with the horror of their daughter's slow torturous death, and then facing the suspicion that they had done it.
Someone owes something to the Ramseys...big time.
Still playing devil's advocate here...
In almost every arrest case, we see a 2-4 week wait for DNA test results. Why is this a match so quickly? Has he been jailed for several weeks? Did they get DNA samples from something his ex-wife kept? Why does it take a month to get DNA results for cases here in the U.S. but they instantly know they have a match for a guy picked up in Thailand?
Could be a logical answer to this but I'd like to here it from those involved in the case.
I feel bad- I *KNEW* the parents did it since the beginning.
This case has been weird from the moment it broke- from a suspect breaking in leaving no trail, then sitting down to write a two-page ransom note while IN the house, to finding her in a weird rarely used room in the basement...
Some news article I read this morning about this guy said he's been unable to get a teaching job in the US since 2002. Sounded like he's been barred from teaching. Bet he has some "incidents" at the schools he taught at.
WOW...that was fast....you mean the cesspect is in the United States already??? Thought he was still in Thailand..
Ping. I am interested in how you reconcile this with your assertation that her parents did it.
Now, that more has coming to light, looks like the headline of this thread is FALSE.
It has not been announced, as yet, if the suspect's DNA matches the DNA found on the child's clothing.
I hate to think that Freepers will read this headline and be misinformed.
