A two grain "bullet" (that is 1/5 the weight of a typical airgun pellet) at air-pistol velocities won't do much harm (though it does retain velocity rather well). Put an eye out, though, and might actually get lodged under the skin. Probably more like a dart gun.
I'm waiting for the gelatin ballistic tests.
