I picked up this quote recently, and while it was not written in relation to Darwinism, I thought of Darwinists when I read it:

The less depth a belief system has, the greater the fervency with which its adherents embrace it. No offense, my friend, but you have described Fundamental Christianity to a "T." TToE is based on science and has a basis in fact and science for its understanding.

Christianity (of which I am an adherent) is based on faith which has a single text for its understanding.

Your sword cuts 2 ways.
