Her position was that Israel's clear military superiority over Hezbollah made the loss of civilian life among the Lebanese more objectionable morally than the loss of civilian life due to Hezbollah's attacks on Israel.

She dismissed Israel's attempts to notify civilians to clear areas where Hezbollah was operating prior to launching retaliatory attacks on Hezbollah positions as inadequate. She didn't address a counter argument made by one of the other participants in the panel that Hezbollah makes no such attempt to warn Israeli citizens of impending attacks.

She continued on to quote/paraphrase Ghandi on how if the world went an "eye for an eye" that it would be blind, as if that altered the facts. The facts being that Hezbollah and other Muslim terrorist organizations will continue their attacks whether or not Israel defends itself passively or aggressively.

So in other words, Hezbollah is the victim trying to defend itself from the "military superiority" of the IDF. Typical leftist thinking.

Sounds like she belongs over on the Clinton News Network. She and Robertson would get along great.

Sounds like the generic leftist objection to US military action of any kind. It's as if because we are stronger, we are just supposed to take punches without retaliating. The same advice a liberal kindergarten teacher would give to the biggest kid in class. ;)
