A few months ago a kid (26 or so) was in the news because he had racked up something like 70 speeding convictions and tickets in something like 6 years.
Because he had lots of money he could game the system.
He gamed it pretty well in fact right up until the day his hot sports car left the roadway, became airborne actually, at something over 80 mph in a 40mph zone.
He not only killed himself but a mother and IIRC two children.
This kind of person needs a good beating.

Do I understand correctly that cameras were used to issue these speeding citations? Were officers even present? I'd heard of this w.r.t. red lights but not speeding.
