Apple iPod Ads: Too Racy for the USA
Sometimes living in the United States is downright oppressive. The terrorists want our whole society to vanish, and the advertisements are dumbed down and scrubbed clean for the sake of a few highly vocal prudes.
Not so in the Czech Republic, where the copy accompanying this iPod advertisement reads, "iPod, the best 'partner' for this year." Or maybe it reads, "iPod, better than sex this year." Accurate translations are invited and welcome.
And now we'll probably get complaints for showing this ad here at Gizmodo. We're betting none of those whiners will come from Europe. Anyway, nice way to wake up on a Friday morning. Charlie White

My theory as to the dock probably can't be reproduced here.

Some of the comments in the link-
"Best product placement ever."
"where are the headphones?"
"Wow, imagine explaining those tan lines."
"What iPod?"
To: martin_fierro
Apple should be ashamed.
Liberal perverts putting this before the eyes of children.

Come to think of it Martin, why are YOU posting the graphic on FR -- a family website? This filth is in my ping list, and it's not the first you've done like this.
Remove me from your ping list.

I used to wonder why Czech ipods have a vibrate function. You don't want to see where she keeps her Nano.

The FR Taliban is a pretty good description of all the Mrs. Broflovski around here.

I live in a small mid-west town where the folks here have the morals and sensibilities of the culture of the 1940's - early 1950's.
I was going to introduce my 12 year old nephew -- who is really a wholesome kid, to FR by poking around my account. At this rate, I'll have him set up his own.
If lusting after the flesh and committing adultery in your heart is your thing, fine -- there's plenty of it around elsewhere. I personally don't think skin graphics belong here. Especially imported from the godless Eurotrash. I copied the moderator - their call. I just want off the ping list. That isn't "Taliban".
Since you bring it up -- read the book of Joel in the Bible, it's short. It describes very well the state of todays society and whats to come for the coming judgment. Be prepared!

Good Grief! Your ping with the picture was removed by the moderator? That wasn't that racy at all... there have been much more suggestive pictures posted on FR than a bikini with iPod. Sheesh.
