To: Mrs. Darla Ruth Schwerin

A machinist friend of mine was telling me about how they needed to get some teflon parts engraved. Their normal engraver couldn't do it because apparently Teflon is toxic when heated and the engraver didn't have the appropriate devices to handle it properly.

My question is, if Teflon is toxic when heated, why do they put all over stuff that you COOK in! (I knew there was a reason to not use that stuff).

Yeah, my question too. I said that very thing while I was watching the show. Their excuse is, "But it's only toxic after a certain temperature". That is a pretty lame excuse, but it shows that money matters most, here.
