I thought Art Shell did a good job when he first coached the Raiders, and I'm confident he will soon bring this team into contention.
I went to my first Raider game in Oakland in 1969, purchased Raider season tickets in 1970, and have been a fan ever since.

I did too, given a lot of the circumstances during his first tenure. Despite his shortcomings (his poor late game clock management, that we couldn't beat KC) his worst season--'92 I believe--we finished 7-9. Given the past 3 seasons, 7-9 doesn't look that bad.
