Does anyone have an online copy of the TIME photo in the magazine's 31 July issue purporting to show a fire caused by "a downed Israeli jet"?
No jet was downed, of course; a fire was caused by a ZelZal-2 ballistic missile struck by the IAF on its truck prior to launch, which went into the air and came down on fire. Hez had a video of it and claimed they had shot down a jet; the video was quickly debunked but TIME is on Hez's side, so they ran the fake photo/bogus caption bit.
Good god. Doesn't ANYONE do double fact checking anymore? They (The MSM) get taken time after time (pun intended) and STILL fall for it.
Hey, speaking of "fake but accurate," anybody know the website where some guy did a great animated comparison of Killian's letter about Bush to a Word documnet. I'm not talking about the simple gif comparison on LGF -- this one was very detailed and showed several slam dunk matches.
The pic I need is the TIME pic from page 45 of the 31 July issue, but thanks! If anyone does have a clearer grab from the "shoot-down" video, I could sure use that as well.
Visit your local library.
BLACK AND BLUE The wreckage of a downed Israeli jet that was targeting Hizballah trucks billows smoke behind a Hizballah gunman in Kfar Chima, near Beirut. Jet fuel set the surrounding area ablaze.
Many thanks, faq.
Hey, I see you got mentioned on Michelle Malkin's site. http://michellemalkin.com/archives/005687.htm I had the full page scanned and debated whether I should upload a separate picture of the caption too (the caption would have been too small to read after resizing the picture). Guess I should have. It was fun seeing that picture on her site.
