"If a husband chooses the wrong woman to marry, that is still not important enough to lessen sentences of first time offenders. Sorry, if that sounds cold blooded."
There are too many man-hating people in our society for me to feel sheilded from false accusations. Sorry for me to say so, but we are a divided society; no trust.
Repeat offenders become apparent, by repeated criminality. The prisons would be full of men if it were just one-strike you're gone.

I am not a man-hating person. I am a woman hating pedophilia. There is no cure for a pedophilia. He or she must be kept from society and I would prefer it on the first victim rather than waiting for escalation.
I also realize that there are women, unlike me, who think the best revenge is false accusations to destroy an ex.
I have been a pediatric RN for many years and it has been my experience that most children tell the truth--even if it takes a while. They usually don't let their daddies go to prison if they can help it.
So I don't think that false accusations happen enough to justify light sentences of child molesters.
