ST PETERSBURG, Florida (AP) -- A woman and her roommate were charged with starving the woman's 9-year-old daughter, who weighed just 42 pounds when she was found, authorities said.

The child also was locked up all day and was forced to wear a filthy diaper, police said.

Melissa Samoraj, 27, and Raymond LaFountain, 31, were arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated child abuse.

The story in the St. Petersburg Times refers to LaFontain as the mother's "partner"

It's shocking that CNN.com (actually the Associated Press), the Tampa Tribune and the St. Petersburg Times could all cover this story without using the words "homosexual," "bi-sexual" or "lesbian." That way, in the future, if anyone is doing an internet search on "child abuse and homosexuals," this story will not appear.

The St. Petersburg Times gives the added detail that the girl's father, who now wants custody, is a registered sex offender "convicted of lewd and lascivious assault of a child under 16."

LaFountain was originally described by police as Samoraj's live-in boyfriend, but the gender classification at the jail was changed from male to female following a routine strip search, Pinellas sheriff's spokesman Mac McMullen said.

Catholic Exorcisms are just the thing those two spiritless wimen need ,however the Catholic church will only do voluntary exorcisms. Those two gave up fighting their demons a long time ago.
