Not a racial incident, of course. (Sarcasm) Just like when that German woman was carjacked and murdered after leaving Miami airport in 1993.

in that region of the country, it could be more difficult as the people could be a mix of various people groups (there are no races, or subspecies, of humanity)?

Seems reasonable. The media does not always hide the people group status of suspected criminals.

Gentile pulled down the window of his rental Chevy, at the corner of Washington Ave. and Jefferson St. to ask for directions.

Instead of giving him a helpful tip, an unidentified black man robbed and shot him.
