Studio Head Calls Lohan 'Unprofessional'

Saturday July 29 5:15 AM ET

A studio executive scolded Lindsay Lohan in a letter for her behavior on a movie set and doubted her reasons earlier this week when she said she suffered from heat exhaustion.

James G. Robinson, CEO of Morgan Creek Productions, sent the letter dated July 26 to the 20-year-old actress, as well as agents, producers and others involved in the film.

On Tuesday, Lohan's publicist told the syndicated entertainment show "The Insider" that her client was taken to a hospital, where she was treated for overheating and dehydration. Lohan had been filming "Georgia Rule" in 105-degree weather for 12 hours that day, spokeswoman Leslie Sloan Zelnick said.

Robinson, 70, wasn't buying the excuse.

"You and your representatives have told us that your various late arrivals and absences from the set have been the result of illness; today we were told it was 'heat exhaustion.' We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called 'exhaustion,'" Robinson wrote in the letter posted Friday on TheSmokingGun.com.

The letter was authenticated by a spokesman for Morgan Creek, according to the Web site and the Los Angeles Times.

Phone messages left for Zelnick and Morgan Creek were not immediately returned late Friday.

Lohan plays a troubled teen in "Georgia Rule," which also stars Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman. Robinson said in the letter that Lohan has been frequently late for filming and has been "discourteous, irresponsible and unprofessional."

"You have acted like a spoiled child and in so doing have alienated many of your co-workers and endangered the quality of this picture," Robinson wrote.

The studio executive also said if Lohan does not honor her commitments, the studio will pursue "full monetary damages" and take other necessary action to preserve the studio's financial interests.

The star of "Freaky Friday" and "Herbie: Fully Loaded," Lohan was treated at hospitals twice in January in London for a cut on her leg and in the Miami area for an asthma attack.

In 2005, she was hospitalized for exhaustion and lost a noticeable amount of weight.

Oh, I don't just think so; I KNOW so. It's one of those "undeniable fact" sort of things...even the DUers won't argue with it.

Well, you're welcome, in any event. You complemented my cartoon a few weeks ago, so it's the least I owe you.

She looks cute in the 2nd photo getting out of her Mercedes. And she looks better now than she did a few months ago when she was skin and bones.

What's sad is she just turned 20 not a month ago and she looks ten years older.

Miss Inflate-a-Boobies has been OWNED.

These actors/actresses always talk about how hard they work... I call b.s.

Really, how hard is it to speak someone else's words and look pretty doing it (similar to walking and chewing gum at the same time)?

Yeah, I love that too! They're always talking about 12-16 hour work days on movie sets. Do you know who works 12-16 hours a day on a movie set? The grips. The camera men. The sound and lighting people.

The stars sit in an air-conditioned trailer all day until they hear a knock on their door, "Ms. Lohan, we are ready to shoot your scene." and then the star goes out and does a take, maybe a couple of re-takes and then they return to the comfort of their trailer.

** Sadly, she was a little healthier when this photo and the one you posted were taken. She's not nearly as hot these days. **

The URL of that photo indicates it was (likely) taken in May 2006. That's not a whole lot of time to go from healthy to unhealthy! LOL.

No, that photo was taken during a shoot that appeared in a 2004 edition of Rolling Stone when she was Hollywood's "It" girl. Sometime around the release of Mean Girls. I remember that issue well.

In Hollywood "hospitalized for exhaustion" has always been a euphemism for "I've been binging on cocaine and haven't slept for two weeks!"
That or "I've got a really really bad hangover".

Remember the Bloom County strip where Bill the Cat is going into a rehab clinic?
