Panelist Webster Tarpley makes the claim in his book, 9/11 Synthetic Terror, that 9/11 was a coup d'etat by a financier elite to force George W. Bush into a "war of civilizations."

The panel agreed that this invisible government war party goes back perhaps to the 1846 Mexican war, certainly to the USS Maine and the Spanish American War of 1898, and has arranged more and more frequent "false-flag" provocations since the Gulf of Tonkin and the Israel/Palestine crisis.

They also accused this "string-pulling elite" of using terror to restrict traditional constitutional freedoms.

Believing that those buildings came down due to fire, when there are pictures of people standing in the gaping maw left by one of the planes shortly after the fire died down, is insanity.

Not to be too picky, but the fire never DID die down. The buildings were down within approximately an hour after the planes hit the building. But hey, don't let the facts get in the way of your lunacy.

Now an idiot is asking why the passengers didn't beat up the terrorists with box cutters. He neglects three points:

1 - it was standing doctrine prior to 9-11 to not resist hijackers

2 - the terrorists also said they had bombs, and

3 - as soon as the intent of the hijackers became apparent, Flight 93 DID fight.
