Unbelievable. I can't believe what yall found out after I left last evening! This is the third time during TdF 2006 I have been rendered absolutely speechless. If Patrick McQuaid and the UCI think that jumping the gun & performing the second test without Landis's people present is going to "help cycling's reputation" he must be smoking testosterone. How do you change the rules on your athletes ex post facto & expect anybody to believe you are on the up & up? Like I said, Landis could very well have ridden juiced, but how will we ever really know that for sure given the brazen perfidy demonstrated by the officials who are supposedly making that determination? The UCI itself seems to have substance abuse problems. CRAZY!

The AFP article I posted in #104 included this sentence - "The laboratory is likely to test the sample between Thursday and Saturday morning, provided Landis agrees to it".

But I thought I saw another article wherein McQuaid said that the UCI had the right under their own rules to request the 'B' test.

So if UCI has the right to request the test, but they can't test it without Landis' permission, what's the point...

If Patrick McQuaid and the UCI think that jumping the gun & performing the second test without Landis's people present
