Speaking only for myself, I've spent some time studying the Talmud and the Zohar.
And I've studied them academically, as a Catholic trying to learn more about Judaism, not as an occult "seeker."
A lot of medieval occult legends seem to derive from misreadings or fanciful elaborations of Talmudic, Zoharic and Heikhalotic Jewish texts.
Likewise a lot of very orthodox works of Catholic piety - like El Castillo Interior by St. Teresa of Avila (herself a descendant of Jewish converts to Catholicism) are closely paralleled in such literature.

Indeed. The "hand of glory" can refer either to the hand of a hanged man or to the mandrake (also known as mandragore and taken to be a corruption of the French
main de gloire, i.e. "hand of glory").
The mandrake is a plant that allegedly grows only on the graves of executed persons.
In reality, it is the nightshade plant and grows well in dry soil. Josephus discusses it in his Antiquities.
The "hand of glory" is supposed top have all kinds of properties, including the ability to render someone motionless or to open locked doors.
This is hardcore occultism.

It's actually an oft-debated question whether Lilith was actually a demon or a person.
I agree that the Malleus would affirm this about a succubus, but while the Malleus is magisterial, it is not Magisterial.

Well, as a part-timer in B. L. Zebub's division I can affirm to you that all the succubi I've personally known are infertile. It is a condition of employment.

three different women got a "3" tattooed on the back of their necks.I'm guessing that it's an "om" sign. Very common tattoo. Hindu, not satanic.....

I guess it could be, but the article specifically mentioned a backwards "3," and the porton of "Om" that resembles "3" is not backwards.

Come to think of it. Maybe they were fruitarian too.

but the article specifically mentioned a backwards "3,"Read it again. It says it's an upside down three, not a backwards one. And if someone who had no clue what the symbol meant was trying to describe it, "upside down three" isn't a bad start.

An upside down "3" IS backwards, Heyworth.

Adult onset dyslexia. Sorry.
I still think it might have been an om badly described.

Okay, new alternate theory: It turns out that the arabic symbol for "4" is a backwards three-looking thing, and there were four people in this little group.

It sounds as if they were dabbling with Enochian calls, trying to summon fallen angels to do their warped bidding. So, I'd think any symbol tattooed upon the three girls, if not actually an inverted three, would be either Hebrew or so-called Enochian. There is no different symbol in Hebrew to fit the description, but the Enochian "Tal," corresponding to "m," does. Not sure what to make of that ... Moloch?
To: RegulatorCountry
It also corresponds on an elemental and zodiacal level. Earth of fire, or Virgo, respectively.

Is that rope wrapped around her neck in the pic?
