Did you know Poison and Skid Row had a venue at a casino in my area?

I'd be there in a second. I saw Poison twice and Sebastian Bach (solo) Great shows!

Did anyone go to "Monsters of Rock" in '88.

Van Halen, The Scorpions, Metallica, Dokken and someone else I can't remember.

I was there! The other band was Kingdome Come (see picture below).

My first rock concert was the 1983 Texxas Jam in the Houston Astrodome. The line up included Styx, Sammy Hagar, Ted Nugent, Triumph, and Uriah Heep.

entering the conversation late, but if Poison is coming your way this summer, GO. We saw them in Vegas and Cincy, best two shows they have put on since 1999 (when I was old enough to go see them).

cripes, I'm getting old, saw Sebastian Bach and Izzy with Axl in NYC, my friend 'misplaced' our Metallica tickets last fall, and I remember when Metallica appparently 'sold-out', because they played this deal.

I was there. I think the one you forgot was Kingdom Come - Jason Bonham's band.

Had a hell of a good time, too. In fact, I didn't really care for the Sammy Hagar incarnation of Van Halen until I saw that show.

Ran out and bought "5150" the next day - on cassette.
