But, her Editor just didn't think the Racial slurs were relevant - or the races of the suspects or victim - or that the Police were reportedly drunk.

Editorial Decisions - NOT bias.

Like someone else said - where was this editor when the stories were printed on Duke Lacrosse and Colin Finnerty?

They call people that sift through data and detect specific, distinct, and identical patterns - conspiracy theorists.
Coincidentially, it gives them cover and throws barbs at the critics.

If there not a person making those "Editorial Decisions"?
Does not that person's decisions reflect on their inherent biases?

If you look, the N&O has only published info harmful to Nifong when another News Organiation was running with it. When the cat's out of the bag, they print - and then say "we reported on that."

Why has NOT ONE news organization printed the Judge's name that postponed Kim Roberts case for the 2nd time?

How much stuff on this case has been produced by posters right here - when News Organizations with incredible resources and contacts have ignored it?

A man who called 911 to report the assault to Raleigh police shortly before midnight on Thursday told a dispatcher the attackers were men they "believe are Durham police officers." A copy of the Raleigh department's incident report does not mention any Durham police officers by name.

They ignore immoral and uncivil behavior in their varsity athletes, especially those in high-profile sports such as lacrosse and football, because of their status on campus and off.

Lacrosse=high profile? Hardly, if that were true Pressler would not have been fired. Lacrosse costs universities money, unlike football and basketball.

I would love for the author to show me the college where "drunken rude behavior" does not occur...give me a break. I'd bet money the author was drunk and rude at some point in his/her college life too.

The first report by 911 was made by the manager of Blinco's if I read it all correctly. I guess that was the "man" although after reading all this stuff about Jakki, we just don't really know any more. ;-)

I wonder what those columnists are saying this morning in the coffee rooms? I may have an evil twin that sends this latest one to them...What do you think? LOL!
